These methods, applied to early cancer diagnostics, allow to automate and improve sensitivity and specificity of diagnoses. For example:

• Automated classification of cell types in serous effusions
• Preselection of abnormal nuclei in smears from the oral mucosa
• Acquisition of reference classifications
• Analysis of cell clusters
